Our team is integral to making the Netflix experience feel personal and relevant by developing innovative approaches to how we catalog, promote, localize, and distribute content.The CPD organization  is composed of several groups, one of which we are hiring within is the Promotional Assets & Creative Technology (PACT).  PACT creates technology to promote content on the Netflix service and off service on social channels.  We increase conversation and choosing by connecting members & fans to stories they love with quality promotional assets created as efficiently and quickly as possible.Within CPD, we are hiring 2 Engineering Managers to lead the following teams:MarTech Asset Distribution:The team is responsible for developing technology that supports efficient and connected workflows to achieve creative and operational excellence for Marketing partner social teams. This includes planning marketing campaigns, asset management, and distribution with solutions enabling teams to “create once, publish everywhere”, all aimed at sparking and amplifying conversations to fuel the thrill of what’s next.Promo Asset Management:The team is responsible for the development of the centralized platform for managing, discovery, and sharing promotional assets (ex: images, videos). This includes search and discovery, asset management, and distribution with solutions enabling teams to “create once, publish everywhere”, all aimed at sparking and amplifying conversations to fuel the thrill of what’s next.What you will do:You will lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-impact results, your responsibilities in this role:Build great relationships through partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and other engineering managers across to deliver the vision, strategy, and adoption of your team’s products across our stakeholder groups.Foster a strong accountability culture in the team and help them deliver their roadmap reliably and in a timely manner to support the needs of critical business stakeholders.Act as a credible technical advisor to the team; help the team make thoughtful, informed decisions in ambiguous situationsConnect the dots across peer teams to selflessly prioritize work beyond the scope of your own domain.Effectively communicate complex ideas and influence decisions across a diverse range of stakeholders.Balance business needs with strong engineering principles, ensure investment in foundational technical work, pay off tech debts, and make incremental improvements to deliver timely results.Hire, coach, and lead a team of outstanding UI and Backend Engineers, challenging them to bring their best selves to their daily work, and deliver exceptional results in stability, performance, efficiency as well as the product experience.Build and nurture an inclusive team culture where every member feels empowered, accepted, and respected.What we are looking for:At least 2 years of experience in building and managing high-performing teams with a focus on inclusion and diversity. Have the courage to pivot based on broader impacts.Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships withcross-functional partners and stakeholders withexcellent communication and collaboration skills. Capable of influencing the strategic direction of partners and stakeholders.Proven track record helping a team deliver timely results on critical priorities against many demands for their time, and partnering with product and engineering management to influence the right areas for investmentBring rigor to decision-making and drive down ambiguity with the right mix of collecting data, seeking input, farming for dissent, and making pilot investments to build understanding or confirm direction.Experience driving teams to adopt specific KPIs/leading indicators of system health, observing and tuning the systems to prevent predictable outages.Strong communication skills - with the team, stakeholders, partners, and leadership, particularly across global bordersNice to have:Experience building enterprise software and distributed systemsExperience leading engineering teams with both UI/UX and Backend engineersInclusionis a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
