We derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company, and the Corporate FP&A team plays a key role in this area. Senior management heavily depends on Corporate FP&A to accurately track trends in performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and the outcome of our group’s analyses plays a critical role in the important and strategic decision-making for the company.This Manager will support all operational activities for Netflix’s company-wide people costs and workforce planning. This role is right for you if you enjoy problem-solving, building solutions, delivering actionable and data-driven insights, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The position reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A and is based in the Company’s corporate headquarters in Los Gatos, with a hybrid schedule.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of tools and reports for managing employee expenses and workforce planning across the company.Perform data analysis and develop insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that effectively summarize the data.Act as the bridge between business teams and technical teams to gather tooling and data requirements.Create and maintain data documentation for both internal technical audiences and partner user teams.Collaborate with partners in FP&A, Data Science & Engineering, and Planning Technology teams to enhance forecast accuracy and streamline the planning process.Support the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, forecast methodologies, and analyses to drive business decisions related to employee expenses and workforce planning.Drive process improvements in headcount planning by partnering with upstream process owners, and enhance current tools/systems related to workforce and expense management.Drive financial planning processes related to headcount and employee expense forecasting, as well as long-range planning.Qualifications7+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, preferably in corporate analytics or other roles requiring a blend of strategic and cross-functional work, with extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.Strong communicator; able to collaborate and maintain relationships with partners across business teams, Planning Technology,  and the Data Science & Engineering team.Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines.Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing, and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings in a clear and concise way.Superior proficiency with MS Excel is expected; basic knowledge of SQL is required; Tableau, Anaplan and TM1 knowledge a plus.Previous experience working with financial and/or headcount-related data.Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
