The ideal candidate is a passionate creative producer, thrives in a fast paced environment, is highly collaborative, exceptionally organized and is fueled by the rush of going LIVE.  The role requires a high level of creativity, an inquisitive and innovative personality, and a strong project management background.Spearheading the capture during our live productions across our sports and nonfiction programming slate, this role utilizes knowledge of live entertainment and sports event production and video creative capture. We value candidates who are action-oriented, curious, hands-on and enthusiastic about contributing wherever needed. The ideal candidate has a strong project management background and excels at strategically planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and possessing high integrity, this candidate uses sound judgment to make wise decisions, thinks strategically, and inspires colleagues to do the same.This role will work cross-functionally with the Netflix publicity, marketing, product, and social teams, as well as show production, talent reps, and external creative partners  and producers throughout the lifecycle of a campaign.This job is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Senior Manager of AV Studio Series, Live, and Non-Fiction.Responsibilities.Develop and execute a creative content strategy for live entertainment and sports events, to capture, produce and utilize impactful visual assets to enhance the 360 marketing campaign throughout each project’s lifecycleHire, schedule and oversee crews and creative agencies, with expertise in entertainment and sports event coverage; drive communication with production teams to ensure seamless capture of respective athletic events, behind the scenes moments and key talent interactions.Curate and deliver video content/footage to be used for the overall title campaignDrive communication with lead campaign publicist, marketing/social teams, production teams and talent repsProduce behind the scenes footage with Netflix talent on certain campaigns in lead up to live programming event(s)Manage and oversee live clip pulling strategy for a given event or series of episodesAssist with the asset management and servicing of AV materialProduce social  and marketing video shootsPartner with Publicity partner teams to produce and manage set visit capture as neededOversee AV needs for premieres and eventsManage budgets, open internal POs and negotiate rates with third-party vendors.Qualifications:8+ years experience at a network, studio, sports media company, or editorial outlet with a strong focus on sports and live event creative content capture and strategyStrong roster of sports, entertainment, and editorial videographers and creative agenciesExperience in Live television and sports broadcasting preferredStrategic thought-partner and strong team playerDeadline-oriented, agile in event settings with strong time management skillsStrong eye for producing impactful creative assetsExperience working with international markets is preferredAbility to handle high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments simultaneously and manage competing priorities with tight timelinesMust be able to work independently, highly decisive, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and accuracyMust possess solid organizational, effective time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external teamsUnderstand and interest in Federal copyright laws, usage licenses, embargoes and athlete likeness rightsStrong knowledge in digital file specs, size formats and delivery workflows for sports mediaExtensive knowledge of Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro is preferredStrong understanding of union, league associations, broadcast regulations (e.g., SAG, DGA, Local 600 rules and regulations)Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $169,000-281,000.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
