As a Launch #Mechanical #Design Engineer in the Vehicle #Engineering organization, you will be an important part of that mission as you lead the design and engineering development of new and modified parts and assemblies on our vehicles. __ In this position you will be part of an experienced and highly skilled team within the Closures, Exteriors and Lighting group where you will be responsible for the continued ramp, stabilization, optimization, and holistic sustaining of components & assemblies. __ Projects will be focused on improving the overall quality, cost, performance and/or #manufacturing ease through design changes of parts and assemblies. The position offers the opportunity to work on completely new mechanical design engineering designs and to have your designs be a part of our vehicles. __ Your primary responsibilities will be ownership of the engineering and design as well as cross-function team leadership and project #management. __ The position provides a great opportunity for growth and to further your knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of part designs, manufacturing methods, and cross-functional disciplines.
