Team Responsible for training, scheduling, and leading their assigned shift(s) of #Asset Protection #Officers (APO) in the absence of the Asset Protection Manager (APM) #Maintains the staffing and execution of processes at the Facility Truck Gate on their shift Works with the Asset Protection Team to provide Asset Protection awareness and education as directed by the #APM throughout the Facility Ensure effective verbal communication channels are maintained with #APOs and AP management Assist in the development and execution of training for APOs Preforms other assigned tasks directed by Asset Protection Manager. Shrinkage Implements various shortage control measures designed to develop leads for #investigations as well as deter theft Provides leadership to team members by discussing various #shrinkage topics in department start-up meetings Establishes protocols for the effective use of trending information by the AP team in a manner that identifies internal investigations and/or other causes for shrinkage Periodically audits departments for merchandise protection standard adherence Walks the facility's floor to identify merchandise protection opportunities that deviate from company standards Safe & Secure Monitors Associate parking lots for unsafe conditions Conducts patrol activity inside and outside the Facility to detect unsafe conditions, physical #security risks or occurrences, theft risks or incidents, and shrinkage risks and incidents Inspects parcels coming into and leaving the Facility Checks bags in accordance with Supply Chain bag check policy, check identification of persons entering the Facility, issues visitor badges, and notifies Facility Associates when visitors arrive Monitors all Associates that leave the Facility and performs inspections of parcels they are carrying, in accordance with Supply Chain bag check policy
