What you will do Lead efforts to settle and resolve marine claims that may be more challenging or #feature complex terms while driving value for the company. Review and #analyze demurrage claims submitted by counterparties or #internal teams Negotiate claim settlements with shipowners, charterers, terminals, and other stakeholders Prepare and submit counterclaims or dispute unjustified charges; help to resolve contractual disputes with counterparties Reconcile and negotiate complex off-hire and underperformance claims for company-chartered vessels Maintain detailed records of claims, correspondence, and outcomes and communicate progress to leadership
