As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for our accelerometer production line. This position requires a blend of engineering acumen, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing capabilities while ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards. __ Responsilities 1. Process Development & Optimization: - Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize costs in the production of accelerometers. - Utilize principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to analyze and improve production line performance. - Conduct tool and process capability studies to identify areas for improvement. 2. Project Management: - Lead and coordinate projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, and equipment installations. - Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely and successful execution. - Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. __ 3. Technical Support: - Provide technical support to the manufacturing team during production runs, troubleshooting technical issues related to equipment and processes. - Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products and modifications of existing products. - Generate and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions, manufacturing process flowcharts, and process control plans. 4. Collaboration: - Work closely with cross-functional teams including #design engineering, #quality assurance, #supply chain, and production teams to drive optimal solutions. - Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability, production readiness, and cost analysis. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing team.
