Review, assess and decide whether vessels in the lower #risk categories nominated by the business to load/ discharge #products in any of the #Qatari #Marine facilities represent an acceptable risk profile with the objective of enhancing the #safety and operability of #Qatar #Energy controlled ports and #offshore terminals. __ Required Experience and Skills Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as senior officer on tankers (Crude, Product, Gas and Chemicals) or progressive experience within the marine industry. __ Comprehensive understanding of the marine industry and experience through service as a tanker officer or other roles such as Ship Superintendent, Port Regulator, Class Society Inspector, Marine Warranty Surveyor, etc.). __ Sound knowledge of applicable maritime legislation, standards and guidelines in the marine industry with an ability to communicate effectively on such issues with a broad range of stakeholders, including ship operators, marketers, external clients, port regulators and senior management. __ A high standard of personal integrity. Capability to effectively work within a team combined with a commitment to ensure that the delivered product and value exceeds the sum of the component parts. Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English Language.
