In a changing energy sector, the Company has decided to make significant investments in the field of electricity and renewables. TotalEnergies has globally 16GW of operational renewable assets end of Q3 2022. The ambition is to go even further with a targeted operational gross capacity of 35 GW by 2025 and 100 GW by 2030 In a very competitive solar market, Total Solar International develops and invests in large solar power plants or electricity storage projects. Activities As Head of Development, you will be responsible for the following activities : __ 1 - Supervise project implementation from Bid award (or from PPA signature when a bilateral approach) to Notice To Proceed (NTP) within the mandate validated in Committees • Coordinate an internal multidisciplinary team (project directors and #managers, #technicians, #legal, HSE, societal, permits and local aspects economists, tax specialists), • Coordinate external consultants, and/or parties including partners teams, lenders • Supervise closing activities in all areas (EPC, financial) from Bid award (or from PPA discussion when a bilateral approach) to NTP • Manage the project indicators such as (i) timeline, (ii) development cost budget and project economics, (iii) actions lists to avoid gap with base case • Manage and prepare the project reporting to the MD and the relevant management level within the project governance (steering committee or equivalent as per the project requirements) __ • Monitor and assess project risks register and mitigations actions along the project development cycle • Supervise or review (depending on the responsibilities allocation between equity partners) the local development (permits, land, etc…) • Ensure the appropriate discussions with equity partners teams • Integrate HSE dimensions • Lead finance teams in SA (CT and JB) and coordination with ME to ensure proper bookings of transactions and financial reporting 2 - In coordination with the Renewable Explorer and Regional BD team, propose new route to market and develop new business and land opportunities 3 - Manage TotalEnergies’ interests in assets in operations
