Providing Production database administration #administration support. This includes installing & Configuring the MySQL enterprise databases, migrating the data from other RDBMS to MySQL, database management, routine maintenance, proactive monitoring & corrective actions, reactive troubleshooting & remediation, technical currency - version & patch maintenance, security - password & encryption, defining and implementing standards and best practices, installing and maintaining replication, process improvement ideas & implementation, automating for self healing and reducing manual tasks #task , and creating documentation. __ Performance & Tuning of databases, creating documentation, Monitor and optimize performance of the database #database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs. __ Work on both Linux & Windows on premises and OCI cloud based MySQL databases. The candidate should be able to create database-related scripts and programs, Research #research , evaluate, test, and recommend new or improved MySQL and database tools.
