Performs thorough engine performance and durability testing to evaluate development items, which includes test methods, data analysis, and detailed reporting in a timely fashion. __ This will include end of day summaries of testing status as well as test results. _. Monitors dyno calendar daily to stay abreast of upcoming assigned tests and schedules. __ Communicates test plan prior to test dates to allow Dyno group to be prepared for efficient use of testing resources. _. Works closely with Dyno Group to coordinate dyno support and development test support when assigned to a particular test. __ Expected to contribute to the Engine Management Development Team, focusing on Durability, Performance, Drivability, and Fuel economy. __ Work with other departments on development of new ideas, testing, and implementation. _. A successful candidate will have: _. BS in Mechanical Engineering or relative work experience. __ At least 2 years of engine management software function and tuning experience. _. A strong understanding of the function of internal combustion engines. __ Engineering Skills: _. Good understanding of basic engineering processes and systems (for design, development, testing and manufacturing). __ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written / Teams, etc. _. Self-motivated with strong work ethic. __ Ability to meet deadlines. _. Proficient experience with Excel, Word, Teams, Power Point. __ Working knowledge of engine management software. _. Proficient experience with dynamometer testing. __ Proficient use of calibration tools. _. Understanding and function of combustion analysis software and hardware (Indimaster/Concerto).
