Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. __ Our humanoid #robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. __ We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. __ We are looking for a skilled MES & Controls #Engineer to join our Manufacturing team. __ In this hybrid role, you will lead the integration and optimization of our MES infrastructure while contributing your #automation controls expertise to support a tightly connected, data-rich manufacturing environment. __ You will be instrumental in bridging the digital and physical layers of our production systems—connecting MES platforms with shop floor controls (work stations, PLCs, sensors, testers, motion systems) to deliver traceability, operational visibility, and high system reliability. __ This is a hands-on engineering position that spans system #architecture, controls programming, MES development, and factory floor integration. __ #Design, configure, and maintain the MES infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and real-time #data availability. __ Integrate MES with new and existing production equipment, work stations, test stations, automation cells, and data acquisition systems. __ Develop and maintain robust UI interfaces, ensuring full traceability, error handling, and synchronization of production events. __ Build real-time dashboards and data pipelines to monitor OEE, system status, #test results, and production KPIs. __ Collaborate with manufacturing #engineers to support new process introductions, controls programming, commissioning, automation changes, and MES-related troubleshooting. __ Create and maintain internal documentation for MES standards, architecture, and integration workflows. __ Ensure data integrity and high MES availability in a fast-paced, high-mix production environment.
